About

“Anyone can run, but not everyone can total Elite and run.”-Jim Wendler.

I am an almost 30 year old Husband and father, soon to be student (who still works 40hrs a week) who loves all things strength and endurance.

I have been active my whole life playing both baseball and soccer. I played 4 years of college baseball at a small NAIA school in Indiana (where I met my best friend, love of my life and partner in crime with all this). After graduating I played a couple years of competitive soccer. I started weight training when I was 13 years old thanks to an old set of weights and my fathers passion for being big and strong. I started running after college with some buddies and we quickly found ourselves trying to push farther and go longer.

This blog will follow my training as I gear up for races (half marathons, marathons, ultra marathons), meets (powerlifting, strongman, highland games), and the occasional friendly pick up game of rugby.

I love life and my family, and I love lifting heavy, running far, bbq, dark beer and watching Ohio State football and Cincinnati Reds games  with my son.

“I only want to do one thing in life: drink beer and train like an animal, to me that is one thing”-Me
